Class 1 Lease Operator — Super B, 5 On 2 Off, $275,000–$320,000

Our company is hiring a Class 1 Lease Operator for its Fibre Division in Grande Prairie, AB. You'll run Super B and specialized equipment on regional routes across Western Canada, hauling fibre-related products tied to the region's forestry industry.

• $275,000 to $320,000

Schedule

• 5 days on, 2 days off, with scheduled home time

• Year-round, steady work

What you'll haul

• Triaxle, Super B and specialized equipment

• Fibre products for the Grande Prairie region

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 license

• Super B experience and mountain driving experience

• Comfortable and capable driving in snow and other tough weather

• Able to chain up tires when conditions call for it

• Clean driving record

• Able to read, write and speak English

• Front end loader experience is a plus

• Able to lift up to 100 lbs, carry 50 lbs overhead and 75 lbs to shoulder height

• Able to sit for extended periods

• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen

• Comfortable cross-training across different facility functions

On the job, you'll handle load securement, pre/post/en-route inspections, paperwork like bills of lading, hours-of-service logs, and communication with dispatch and customers. Occasional tarping, loading/unloading assistance, and site cleanup are part of the role, along with reporting any mechanical, safety or delivery issues.
