Class 1 Highway Truck Driver — $65,000–$90,000/Year

Our company, a Canadian truckload carrier, is hiring both team and solo drivers for long-haul runs between Canada and the US, using newer equipment maintained in-house.

Pay

• $65,000 to $90,000 per year

• Extra pay for loading/unloading, picks/drops, and trailer switches

• Paid by direct deposit

What you'll haul

• Tractor trailer freight on long-haul routes across Canada and the United States

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 license, or the education and ability to get one

• Commercial driving experience is a plus

• Current driver's abstract and criminal record check

• Passport and/or FAST card, or the ability to obtain one

• Able to communicate in English

Responsibilities

• Operate the tractor trailer on long routes through Canada and the USA

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections

• Secure cargo properly

• Keep accurate logs and follow Hours of Service rules

• Follow DOT regulations

• Stay in contact with dispatch and customers
