About this job
Our company runs freight across Canada and the US for major Fortune 500 clients, using a modern, well-kept fleet. They're hiring an experienced Class 1 driver for their Cornwall, ON location for long-haul highway work.
What you'll haul
- Reefer and dry van trailers
What you'll do
- Drive a Class 1 tractor-trailer combination
- Stay in contact with customers, dispatch, managers and the safety team
- Keep log books accurate and current
- Carry out pre-trip inspections and safety checks
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 license
- Commercial abstract with no more than 2 demerit points
- No license suspensions
- Clean criminal record
- Comfortable working with reefer and dry van equipment
