About this job
Amar Group, a Canadian transportation and logistics company based in Montreal, is looking for experienced Class 1 highway drivers to run tractor-trailers and B-Train configurations. Drivers with container or intermodal experience are especially welcome.
Pay
- $50,000.00-$90,000.00 per year, based on experience
- Paid weekly
What you'll haul
- General freight and shipping containers
- B-Train rigs where assigned
Responsibilities
- Pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Following Quebec and federal transport regulations
- Keeping accurate electronic logs and trip paperwork
- Staying in contact with dispatch
Requirements
- Valid Quebec Class 1 licence
- At least 25 years old (insurance requirement)
- B-Train experience strongly preferred
- Clean abstract and driving record
- Solid grasp of commercial vehicle safety practices
