About this job
Our company is hiring a Class 1 driver based in Saint-Laurent for cross-border runs between Quebec and U.S. destinations. You'll get steady weekly miles, newer trucks, and a consistent 5-days-on schedule.
Pay
- $95,000.00-$105,000.00 per year
- Typical workload is 2,800–3,300 miles per week
What you'll haul
- Long-haul freight moving between Quebec and the U.S.
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 licence
- Able to travel to the U.S.: valid passport and a FAST card, or eligibility to get one
- Clean driving abstract and solid safety history
- Long-haul or cross-border experience is a plus
- Comfortable being on the road for 5 straight days
What you'll do
- Drive and inspect your equipment before and after each trip
- Keep logbooks and border paperwork in order
- Stay in contact with dispatch during your trips
- Represent the company well at customer sites
