About this job
Our company is looking for an experienced Class 1 driver to run flatdeck and Super B trailer loads over short and long distances. This is a full-time, on-the-road position based out of Onoway, AB.
Pay
- Starting at $38.00 per hour
What you'll haul
- Flatdeck and Super B trailer freight, including oversize equipment
Responsibilities
- Operate the truck safely while delivering goods on planned routes and schedules
- Load, unload and properly secure cargo, including oversized items
- Keep up with ELD logs
- Handle unexpected situations like traffic or bad weather
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 license
- At least 5 years of flatbed driving experience
- Clean commercial driving abstract
- Solid grasp of trucking regulations
- Able to lift 50 lbs repeatedly
- Mechanically inclined; some repair experience is a plus
