Class 1 Fuel Driver — $38.00-$42.00/hr, 14 on 7 off

Our company in Fort McMurray, AB needs a dependable Class 1 driver to haul fuel on a 14 on 7 off rotation. You'll move fuel between sites, keep deliveries on time, and work safely around hazardous materials and heavy equipment.

What you'll do

• Drive a Class 1 commercial truck to get fuel to sites on time, following traffic and safety rules

• Load and unload fuel at pickup and drop-off points

• Check your vehicle before and after each run to catch mechanical or safety problems early

• Keep clear, accurate logs and paperwork for every delivery

• Help refuel trucks and equipment when needed

• Handle minor repairs or troubleshoot issues on the truck when they come up

• Follow hazmat handling and documentation rules at all times

• Stay in touch with dispatch about your schedule and anything unusual on the road

Requirements

• Class 1 license with solid commercial driving experience

• Familiarity with freight handling and hazmat transport rules

• Basic mechanical know-how to troubleshoot truck issues on the road or at the yard

• Careful, detail-oriented approach to inspections, paperwork and safety

• Strong communication with dispatch, coworkers and clients

• Comfortable working independently and managing your own time to hit delivery windows
