Class 1 Fuel & Propane Driver — Night Shift, $35.84+/hr

Our company is looking for Class 1 drivers to haul fuel or propane out of its Calgary terminal. These are night-shift positions with set rotating schedules, and some runs require sleeping in the truck during your shift.

Routes and schedule

• Fuel hauling runs on a 5-on-2-off, then 5-on-3-off night schedule; some assignments require sleeping in the unit

• AB/BC Highway fuel runs follow the same 5-on-2-off, 5-on-3-off pattern, sleeping in the truck

• Propane hauling runs a 70/36 cycle, staying in the truck for the whole shift, with resets done on the road

Pay

Fuel hauling pays a $31.00 base rate plus a $1.90 premium, a Good Operations Bonus of $0.99 (based on a 55-hour week), and an Attendance Bonus of $1.96 (based on 55 hours per week at 5.77%), bringing regular-hour pay to $35.84 total. Propane hauling pays the same base and bonus structure but with a $2.05 premium, bringing regular-hour pay to $36.01 total. Both roles add $2.35/hour for work between 10 PM and 5 AM and on weekends. Overtime kicks in after 55 hours per week.

New hires also get paid training at $29.45/hour, plus the chance to earn monthly and yearly bonuses.

Requirements

• Class 1/AZ license with at least 2 years of recent highway driving experience

• Super B, tanker and off-road experience are strong assets

• Must pass an on-site drug and alcohol screen and a job abilities assessment; a criminal record check is paid for by the company
