Class 1 Flatdeck Truck Driver — Canada or Canada/US — $80,000-$110,000/Year

Our company, an Alberta-based flat deck carrier serving Western Canada and the Northwestern US, is adding a Class 1 flatdeck driver to its team. Positions are available for Canada-only or Canada/US runs, with schedule options ranging from short haul to long haul. Pay

• $80,000.00-$110,000.00 per year

• Paid weekly by direct deposit every Friday

• Extra pay for loading, unloading, tarping, strapping, layovers and oversized/overdimensional loads

• Annual bonus of up to $5900, tied to mileage and driver performance

What you'll haul

• Flatdeck loads of varied freight such as pipe, steel, construction equipment, lumber and building materials

• You'll be assigned a dedicated truck - no slip seating

Requirements

• Class 1 license, manual transmission

• At least 2 years of verifiable experience driving a manual transmission tractor-trailer

• Load securement experience (about 1 year) is a plus, though training is provided

• Tarping experience helps but isn't mandatory - training available

• Winter and mountain driving background as a Class 1 driver is a bonus

• Comfortable with electronic logging devices and hours-of-service rules

• Strong communication with customers, good route planning and time management

• A passport is preferred for anyone applying to cross-border Canada/US runs

• No passengers or pets allowed in the truck
