About this job
Our company is hiring a Class 1 Driver in Saint John, NB. You will take rental equipment, tools and supplies out to customer worksites and bring them back, using a flatbed (dovetail) or RGN (lowboy) trailer.
Pay
- $27.47 to $41.19 an hour.
- Your starting rate depends on the position, location, education, training and experience.
What you'll do
- Deliver and pick up equipment, tools and supplies at customer sites.
- Drive in city, suburban and rural settings, including tight spots like construction zones.
- Handle minor repairs on the truck and equipment when you are at a job site.
Requirements
- A valid Class 1 licence and an acceptable driving record.
- Experience with flatbed, RGN/lowboy and dovetail trailers, plus similar commercial equipment, is preferred.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- You should be able to lift 50 pounds or more and work indoors and outdoors.
- A customer service attitude.
