Eassons Transport is hiring LCV-certified drivers for scheduled round trips between Toronto and Halifax, running out of either the Ontario or Nova Scotia terminal. The family-run carrier has operated since 1945 and runs dry and temperature-controlled freight across Canada and the US.
Pay
- Paid weekly based on mileage rates plus accessorial pay items
- Guaranteed daily pay available - call the number in the posting for details
- Typical schedule runs 40 to 50 hours a week, with overtime past 60 hours
What you'll haul
- Temperature-controlled and dry truckload/LTL freight on the Toronto-Halifax corridor
- You'll handle assigned pickups and drop-offs along the route
Requirements
- At least 5 verifiable years driving AZ/Class 1
- Current LCV certification is mandatory
- Clean police background check, clean abstract (CVOR for Ontario drivers), and clean drug screen
- Experience with Automatic Onboard Recorders is a plus
