About this job
Our company, part of Crop Management Network Inc., is looking for a Class 1 driver to haul liquid and dry fertilizer to retail sites and CMN customers across Central Alberta. Most routes stay in the Camrose, Edberg, Stettler, Castor, Daysland, Holden, Vegreville, Fort Saskatchewan, Onoway and Mayerthorpe area, though you may occasionally travel outside the province. This is a full time, hourly position starting as soon as possible.
What you'll haul
- Liquid and dry fertilizer, delivered to CMN retail locations and clients
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 licence with a clean driving abstract
- Strong communication with customers, dispatch, managers and the safety team
- Comfortable keeping accurate logs through the company's EDL system
- Able to carry out pre-trip inspections and safety checks
- Solid customer service and organizational abilities
- Demonstrated skill operating the relevant trucks and trailers
- Physically able to manage loading, unloading and driving duties
- Basic understanding of truck maintenance
- Follows all health, safety and environmental rules
