Class 1 Construction Truck Driver — $24.00-$32.00/hr

Our company in Rocky View Municipal District, AB needs a Class 1 truck driver to haul construction materials and equipment to job sites. You'll work directly with site crews, follow safety rules closely, and sometimes run heavy equipment to load and unload your cargo.

What you'll haul

• Construction materials, equipment and supplies, delivered to multiple job sites

Responsibilities

• Drive your truck on assigned routes while following traffic laws and safety rules

• Load, unload and secure cargo properly, using forklifts, boom trucks or cranes when the job calls for it

• Check your vehicle regularly and flag any mechanical problems right away

• Keep dispatchers, site managers and clients informed to keep deliveries and logistics running smoothly

• Keep your delivery logs, maintenance records and compliance paperwork up to date

• Stick to safety procedures to protect yourself and everyone else on site

Requirements

• Manual Class 1 license required

• Previous experience driving trucks in construction or a similar setting

• Working knowledge of truck mechanics and basic troubleshooting

• Comfortable and safe operating forklifts, boom trucks, cranes and similar machinery

• Solid communication skills; speaking more than one language is a plus

• Professional, customer-facing manner during deliveries

• Able to work independently, keeping safety standards high without close supervision

• Physically able to handle long shifts and outdoor work in all weather
