Class 1/3 Vacuum Truck Driver — Hydro Excavating

Our company is hiring a permanent full-time Vacuum Truck Operator in Killarney, Manitoba to join its Vacuum Truck Services team. You'll handle a mix of industrial vacuum work for clients across the region, always with safety and professionalism front and center.

What you'll do

• Operate vacuum truck equipment on industrial sites

• Carry out hydro excavation, confined space entry, spill cleanup, line flushing, power washing and water hauling

• Load and transport various fluids and materials

• Fill out pre-trip inspections and driver logs to stay compliant with NSC rules

• Keep thorough records of completed work

• Take part in safety meetings, hazard assessments and near-miss reporting

• Work independently, managing your own schedule and communicating clearly with the team

Requirements

• Valid Manitoba Class 1 or Class 3 licence with Air Brake endorsement where applicable

• At least 2 years of experience running an industrial vacuum truck or hydro-excavating unit, combo unit experience preferred

• Strong customer service and communication skills

• Comfortable working in an industrial environment with a safety-first mindset

• Able to do basic maintenance on your equipment

• Organized and tidy work habits

• Good physical health to handle the job's demands

• Open to after-hours calls when needed, plus occasional short-term travel with overnight stays

• First Aid/CPR, CSTS, TDG and H2S Alive certifications are a plus but not mandatory
