Our company in Poplar Bluff, MO is looking for an experienced truck driver to run OTR and local routes hauling a mix of freight, including automobile parts, using tractor-trailers, flatbeds, tankers and refrigerated trailers.
Pay
- From $2,870.68 per week
What you'll haul
- Automobile parts and other freight across tractor-trailers, flatbeds, tankers and reefer trailers
- Mix of over-the-road and local delivery routes
What you'll do
- Secure and handle cargo by hand according to proper cargo-securement practices
- Plan and adjust routes using GPS to hit delivery windows
- Follow FMCSA and DOT rules, including hazmat and dangerous goods handling requirements
- Complete pre- and post-trip inspections and routine maintenance checks
- Keep accurate paperwork: load and delivery records plus any incident reports
Requirements
- Solid commercial driving background, including OTR experience
- Comfortable with manual transmission and maneuvering a tractor-trailer
- Experience with flatbed, tanker and refrigerated trailer equipment
- Working knowledge of FMCSA, DOT and hazardous materials rules
- Clean driving record
