CDL Truck Driver — $26.23–$31.59/hr

Our company is looking for a commercial driver to move freight safely on both long-distance and local routes out of Richmond, VA. You'll handle a mix of equipment depending on the load, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and auto transport, with occasional hazmat shipments when you're authorized to carry them.

Pay

• $26.23 to $31.59 per hour

What you'll haul

• General freight, refrigerated goods, flatbed loads, tanker cargo, vehicles, and hazardous materials when cleared to do so

• Both over-the-road and local assignments, navigating with GPS

What you'll do

• Drive manual-transmission commercial trucks and tractor-trailers

• Inspect your vehicle and secure cargo before, during, and after each trip

• Load and unload freight, working with the logistics team as needed

• Keep accurate delivery records and follow FMCSA, DOT, and hazmat rules

Requirements

• Valid commercial license and credentials matching the vehicle and cargo you're assigned

• Proven safe driving history in commercial trucks

• Solid grasp of inspections, cargo securement, and DOT/FMCSA rules

• Comfortable using GPS and handling freight by hand

• A plus if you've driven OTR routes, tractor-trailers, reefers, flatbeds, tankers, car haulers, or hazmat loads before
