CDL Truck Driver — $25.42–$30.61/hr

Drive a variety of commercial vehicles for this logistics role based in Ft Washington, PA, hauling freight on both local and over-the-road routes. You'll handle different trailer types and need to keep safety and compliance front and center on every run.

Pay

• $25.42 to $30.61 per hour

• Scheduled hours range from 22.0 to 36.0 per week

What you'll haul

• Tractor-trailers, flatbeds, tankers and refrigerated trailers

• Hazardous materials and other regulated cargo, handled per applicable safety rules

What you'll do

• Plan and run routes with GPS, covering both OTR and local stops

• Load and unload freight by hand, keeping cargo secure throughout

• Keep shipment paperwork, delivery logs and compliance records up to date

• Run pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks to catch maintenance or safety issues

• Stay in contact with dispatch to manage schedules and delivery priorities

Requirements

• Valid CDL, with endorsements such as Hazmat or tanker as needed for the load

• Background in truck driving or freight hauling, including route planning and loading/unloading

• Comfortable operating refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers and tractor-trailers

• Working knowledge of FMCSA and DOT rules, plus hazardous materials regulations

• Able to drive manual transmission vehicles and manage physical loading tasks safely

• Solid GPS and route-planning skills for OTR driving

• Clean driving history with a strong safety and compliance track record
