CDL Truck Driver — $25.28–$30.45/hr

This role has you behind the wheel of commercial trucks and tractor-trailers, covering both local routes and longer over-the-road runs. Depending on the load, you might be pulling a refrigerated trailer, a flatbed, a tanker, or hauling vehicles, and on occasion you could be assigned hazardous materials when properly authorized.

Pay

• $25.28 to $30.45 per hour

• Scheduled for between 25 and 40 hours a week

What you'll haul

• General freight on local and OTR assignments

• Possible equipment includes refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and car-hauling trailers

• Hazardous materials only when specifically assigned and permitted

Responsibilities

• Operate your assigned truck along planned delivery schedules

• Check your vehicle and equipment before, during, and after each trip, flagging any mechanical or safety issues

• Load, secure, and unload cargo safely

• Keep accurate delivery paperwork and stay compliant with DOT and FMCSA rules

• Navigate using GPS and follow dispatch instructions

Requirements

• Proper licensing and credentials for the type of driving assigned

• Comfortable driving a manual transmission if the vehicle requires it

• Familiarity with freight securing and loading practices

• Experience with reefer, flatbed, tanker, or hazmat loads is a plus, as is prior commercial driving background
