About this job
Our company needs a CDL truck driver to haul freight safely on local and over-the-road routes. You could be assigned dry van 53-foot trailers or refrigerated trailers depending on what the business needs.
Pay
- $0.70 - $0.90 per mile
What you'll haul
- Dry van 53-foot trailers
- Refrigerated trailers (as needed)
What you'll do
- Operate tractor-trailers and other commercial vehicles in line with DOT and FMCSA rules
- Handle delivery and route assignments using GPS navigation
- Inspect your vehicle and secure your load before, during and after each trip
- Report any route or delivery problems right away and keep accurate trip and vehicle logs
Requirements
- A valid CDL matching the vehicle and cargo you're assigned
- A clean driving history
- Prior experience driving a commercial truck or making deliveries
- Comfort with GPS tools, handling freight, and DOT/FMCSA rules
- Dry van, reefer or OTR experience is a plus
