CDL Refrigerated Delivery Driver — $20–$30/hr

Our company needs a CDL driver to haul fresh seafood on refrigerated trucks and tractor-trailers over the road. You'll handle both the driving and the cargo work, keeping loads safe and on schedule.

Pay

• $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

What you'll haul

• Perishable seafood in refrigerated trailers, with attention to temperature control

• Loads may include hazardous or fragile goods requiring proper securing

Responsibilities

• Drive refrigerated trucks and tractor-trailers on OTR routes, following FMCSA and DOT rules

• Load and unload freight by hand, forklift or other equipment, securing cargo properly

• Use GPS to plan routes and keep deliveries on time

• Keep accurate logs of deliveries, pickups and vehicle inspections

• Check your vehicle before and after each trip for safety or maintenance issues

• Stay in contact with dispatch and customers to manage schedules and sort out any issues

Requirements

• Valid CDL with manual transmission experience and a clean driving record

• Solid background in commercial truck driving, including refrigerated or flatbed trailers

• Working knowledge of FMCSA, DOT and hazmat regulations and safety practices

• Comfortable with GPS navigation and route planning for OTR work

• Able to load and unload freight manually, including seafood or hazardous goods

• Experience with forklift loading; tanker or dump truck experience is a plus

• Familiar with freight documentation and compliance for dangerous goods
