CDL Owner-Operator Truck Driver — OTR Freight

Our company is looking for Owner Operators to haul freight over the road across various routes. You'll run your own truck, work independently, and handle a mix of equipment types depending on the load.

Pay

• $4,000.00 - $10,000.00 per week

What you'll haul

• Tractor-trailer freight, which may include refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks or roll-off equipment

• Loads that may include hazardous materials, requiring full compliance with hazmat rules

What the job involves

• Planning and running OTR routes with GPS navigation

• Loading and unloading cargo safely and securing it properly

• Completing required paperwork in line with FMCSA rules

• Following DOT standards and hazmat regulations where applicable

• Doing routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks, and reporting problems right away

Requirements

• Valid CDL with endorsements matching the equipment you'll run (for example Hazmat or Tanker)

• Solid commercial driving background, including OTR and varied routes

• Comfortable with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks or similar specialized equipment

• Good understanding of FMCSA and hazmat rules

• Able to safely load and unload cargo by hand using proper equipment and technique

• Experienced using GPS for navigation and tracking

• Clean driving record; manual transmission skills are a plus

• Knowledge of proper loading, unloading and cargo handling practices

• Strong safety mindset, reliability and customer service focus
