About this job
Our company in Tumon, GU is looking for a CDL truck driver to haul freight over the road. You'll work with a mix of equipment, from tractor-trailers and reefers to flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks and roll-off trucks, moving loads safely and on schedule.
Pay
- Starts at $20.62 per hour
- At least 40 hours per week expected
What you'll haul
- Freight moved over the road across assigned routes, using tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks and roll-off trucks
- Some loads may include hazardous materials, handled under required safety rules
What you'll do
- Plan and run your routes with GPS to keep deliveries on time
- Load and unload cargo by hand or with equipment like forklifts, securing it properly for transit
- Run pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks and report problems right away
- Keep accurate delivery paperwork and look after the customer relationship at each stop
Requirements
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with solid OTR experience
- Comfortable driving a manual transmission
- Working knowledge of FMCSA, DOT and hazmat rules
- Clean driving record and the stamina to handle long hours on the road
