About this job
Cocoa Beach Express, based at the Radisson Resort at the Port, is looking for shuttle drivers to move guests and port staff around Cape Canaveral. Both CDL and non-CDL drivers are needed, with pay depending on the route and license type.
Pay
- Non-CDL drivers: $17 an hour plus tips, or $19 an hour (no tips) when transporting port employees
- CDL drivers: $18 an hour plus tips, or $20 an hour (no tips) when transporting port employees
What you'll drive
- Non-CDL roles operate commercial-sized vans or smaller vehicles
- CDL roles operate 16+ seat buses and require a Florida CDL (Class A, B or C) with a Passenger (P) endorsement
Schedule
- Full-time and part-time shifts available, both early morning and evening
- Weekend availability is required
Requirements
- Minimum age 25 with at least 3 years of driving experience
- DOT medical certification (obtained after hire)
- Clean driving record (MVR) for the past 3 years
- Able to push, pull and lift luggage up to 50 lbs
- Must pass a drug and alcohol screening
- Friendly, hospitality-minded attitude
