CDL Flatbed Truck Driver — $15–$20/hr

Our company, a fluid-movement and wastewater pump equipment company in Jasper, GA, is looking for a CDL truck driver to join its logistics team. You'll haul freight on various trucks and trailers, including flatbeds, while keeping safety and efficiency a priority. Pay depends on your experience and knowledge.

Pay

• $15.00 to $20.00 per hour, based on experience

What you'll haul

• Freight moved on different truck and trailer types, including flatbeds

• Loading and unloading cargo, sometimes using a forklift

• Lifting up to 50 pounds as part of the job

Schedule

• Full-time, local route

• Weekdays, with weekends as needed

Requirements

• Valid CDL and proven commercial driving background

• Clean driving record, plus a drug and alcohol screening

• Comfortable with route navigation and freight handling procedures

• Manual transmission experience preferred

• General mechanical aptitude helpful

• Able to work solo or alongside a team in a fast-moving setting

What you'll do

• Drive trucks safely to delivery points while following traffic laws

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections

• Keep accurate records of hours driven, routes and deliveries

• Finish and submit delivery paperwork promptly

• Stay in touch with dispatch about schedules or delays

• Keep the truck clean and well maintained
