CDL Dump Truck Driver — $25.00–$30.00/hr

Our company in Kansas City, MO needs a dump truck driver to haul construction materials and debris to job sites. You'll run routes safely while keeping up with all required paperwork and inspections.

Pay

• $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

What you'll haul

• Construction materials, debris and related freight, loaded and unloaded by hand as needed

• Cargo may include hazardous materials, handled per hazmat rules

What you'll do

• Drive and inspect your truck before and after each trip to confirm it's safe and DOT-compliant

• Plan and follow routes with GPS, including longer over-the-road runs

• Secure loads properly, including any hazardous or dangerous goods

• Keep accurate records of hours, loads and routes as FMCSA requires

• Stay in touch with dispatch about schedule changes or problems on the road

Requirements

• Valid CDL with any endorsements the load requires (tanker, flatbed, refrigerated, tractor-trailer)

• Solid background driving trucks, making deliveries or hauling freight, ideally including loading and unloading

• Comfortable with manual transmissions and physical loading work

• Working knowledge of FMCSA and DOT rules, plus hazmat safety standards

• Clean driving record; hazmat hauling experience is a plus

• Able to handle long hours and physical demands of the job
