CDL Driver — Hazmat Endorsement Required, Chemical & Detail Deliveries

Our company in Syracuse, UT is looking for a CDL driver with a Hazmat endorsement to deliver chemical and detail products to customers on set routes. You'll handle loading, unloading and customer service, with some overnight travel involved.

What you'll haul

• Chemical and detail goods delivered to set customers on assigned routes

• Fragile and hazardous materials requiring careful handling

Schedule

• Overnight travel expected around 4-5 nights per month

What you'll do

• Plan routes, keep to schedule, and complete deliveries safely and on time

• Inspect your vehicle before each trip and complete daily pre-trip inspection paperwork

• Load and unload goods according to company and customer specifications

• Confirm orders before and after delivery and get delivery confirmations

• Check in with customers to make sure they're satisfied with their order

• Follow all transportation laws and keep a clean driving record

• Stay in touch with dispatch and the warehouse on delivery status

• Keep your truck clean and organized, and report any accidents or injuries right away

• Keep accurate driving logs and vehicle performance records

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED

• Valid driver's license for the state you'll work in, with a clean driving record

• CDL with Air Brake endorsement and Hazmat endorsement required

• 3+ years of delivery driving experience preferred

• If you have less than 1 year of experience, you'll need ELDT (Entry-Level Driver Training) certification

• Good time management and customer service skills

• Able to walk, drive, lift and carry heavy items for extended periods, including lifting over 55 pounds

• Must pass a background check and drug screen before starting
