About this job
This is a full-time regional dry van driving job for CDL-A holders based out of Salt Lake City, Utah. New graduates and experienced drivers are both welcome, and you get home weekly.
Pay
- Starting rate is $0.55 per mile, plus performance bonus opportunities.
- Typical weekly earnings run $1,300–$1,500, with potential up to $1,800 depending on productivity.
- Expect roughly 1,900–2,200 miles a week.
- You also get $15 per stop plus short-haul pay.
- Trainee pay is $800.
- Pay is guaranteed for the first 3 months after your first solo dispatch.
Home time and schedule
- Home weekly, though home time can vary by assignment.
- Day and night driving, weekends required, and occasional holiday work.
What you'll haul
- Regional dry van freight, mainly along the I-15, I-84, I-90 and I-5 corridors.
- Preloaded and drop-and-hook freight is available.
- Both solo and team positions exist, and no extra endorsements are needed.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL.
- You must live in the approved Utah or Southern Idaho hiring area, within 250 miles of ZIP code 84120.
- Able to work weekends and both day and night shifts.
- Meet applicable DOT and FMCSA rules.
