CDL Box Truck Driver — $1,500–$2,500/Week

Our company is looking for a Box Truck Driver to handle both over-the-road routes and local deliveries out of St. Louis, MO. You'll run freight on a mix of routes, including refrigerated trailer loads, while keeping deliveries on schedule and cargo intact.

Pay

• $1,500.00 - $2,500.00 per week

What you'll haul

• Box truck freight, including refrigerated trailer loads

• Hazardous materials and dangerous goods, following FMCSA and hazmat rules

• Some loads may involve flatbed or tanker setups

What you'll do

• Drive box trucks on OTR and local routes

• Load and unload freight using safe manual handling methods to avoid damage or injury

• Plan routes and adjust in real time using GPS

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip checks on the truck, trailer and cargo for DOT compliance

• Keep accurate logs, delivery paperwork and reports per DOT rules

Requirements

• Valid CDL with a clean driving record

• Background in commercial driving, delivery driving or freight loading/unloading

• Working knowledge of FMCSA safety rules and hazmat handling

• Comfortable driving a manual transmission and doing manual freight handling

• Experience using GPS for route planning

• Familiarity with loading, unloading and general freight/logistics handling

• Solid grasp of DOT rules for commercial driving and hazmat transport
