CDL-B Tri-Axle Dump Truck Driver — Bonus Program

Maxwell Trucking and Excavating, Inc., a company operating for 34 years, is looking to fill a Tri-Axle Dump Truck Driver position at its State College, PA office. You'll move asphalt, aggregate and other materials between job sites, work sites and storage locations.

What you'll haul

• Deliver asphalt or aggregate into pavers, wideners, stone boxes, bins or stockpiles

• Haul other loads as needed, including soil, mulch and brush

• Handle some manual tasks like shoveling material and securing tarps

Responsibilities

• Drive the tri-axle dump truck safely on highways and off-road

• Flag any equipment issues for the maintenance team

• Keep your logbook and paperwork accurate and complete per DOT rules

• Take care of the truck, keeping it clean and in good working order

• Follow state and federal rules on vehicle weight, traffic and hours of service

• Work independently with minimal oversight once trained on company procedures

Requirements

• Valid PA Class B CDL with air brake endorsement

• At least 2 years of verifiable experience driving a comparable CDL vehicle

• Dump truck experience of 1 year or more is a plus but not mandatory; the company will train the right candidate

• Must meet the company's standard driver qualifications
