CDL-B Route Delivery Driver — Home Daily, Weekdays

Our company is hiring a CDL-B route delivery driver in Dalton, GA to deliver compressed gas cylinders to local and regional business customers using a company-provided truck.

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, typically starting at 7am

• Occasional weekend support as needed

• Average 40-45 hours per week

What you'll haul

• Compressed gas cylinders and related supplies to business customers

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections

• Load and unload cylinders and supplies daily

• Secure and unsecure cylinders safely during transport

• Deliver to customer sites using a hand cart, with frequent lifting and moving in and out of the vehicle

• Build strong, professional relationships with customers

Requirements

• Valid Class A or B CDL with HAZMAT endorsement (or able to obtain one within 60 days) and Airbrake endorsement

• No more than two traffic convictions or at-fault accidents in the past three years, or one of each

• No DUI or controlled substance violations in the past seven years

• Ability to pass a drug screening and work in a drug-free environment

• Able to lift 75 lbs regularly and move more than 125 lbs with equipment assistance

• At least one year of CDL driving experience in the last five years, or a trucking school completion certificate from the past 12 months

• Forklift experience is a plus
