CDL-B Petroleum Delivery Driver — Up to $5,000 Sign-On Bonus

Our company in Woodstock, VT is looking for a Delivery Driver to bring petroleum products to homes and businesses. You'll report to the Delivery Driver Manager and handle your route with an emphasis on safety and service.

Pay

• Approximately $65,000 to $110,000 per year, depending on experience

• Sign-on bonus of up to $5,000

What you'll haul

• Petroleum products delivered to residential and commercial customers

• For customers out of oil, you'll prime furnaces; for those out of propane, you'll perform a leak test and light the pilot

Schedule

• Shortened hours during the summer

• Rotation includes night and weekend on-call shifts

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old

• One year of prior truck driving experience preferred

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Class B Commercial Driver's License with a hazardous materials endorsement required

• CETP training and certification required for propane deliveries

• Apprentice oil burner license required if priming furnaces for oil customers

• Must pass a D.O.T. physical, plus pre-employment and random drug screening

• CDL A Commercial Driver license is a preferred credential

On the job, you'll check your vehicle each day and flag any needed repairs, load and run your route according to your manifest while following state and federal rules, and keep your truck clean, organized and stocked with the right tools and safety gear. You'll stay in close contact with dispatch and routing, speak up about any customer issues, join driver huddles, and learn to use the company's Raven handheld device. Treating customers and their property with respect is part of the role, and you may be asked to cross-train or help out in other departments as opportunities arise.
