CDL-B Delivery Truck Driver — $26.25/hr, Home Daily

Drive a late-model Penske truck delivering grocery products to local stores in Atlanta, GA. This full-time CDL-B role gets you home every day, though weekend work is part of the schedule.

Pay

• $26.25 per hour

• Overtime kicks in after 40 hours

• Paychecks issued weekly, every Friday

Schedule

• Local routes, home daily

• 5 days a week, with weekend shifts required

• Dispatch window runs 9pm-10pm

• Be ready to switch to a later route if the job calls for it

What you'll haul

• Grocery products headed to grocery stores

• You'll load and unload using salad carts

• Trucks are late-model Penske equipment built for comfort and safety, with inward and outward-facing cabin cameras

Requirements

• Valid Class B CDL with airbrake endorsement; you must live in the U.S. and hold a license in your state of residence

• Current or obtainable non-excepted interstate DOT medical card

• At least 1 year of documented commercial driving experience within the past 5 years

• No more than two moving violations or accidents on your 3-year DMV/MVR record

• English language proficiency, per federal requirement 49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)

• Must pass a background check (employment, education, criminal history) and a drug screening, and complete the Penske application

• Able to regularly lift up to 50lbs/23kg and occasionally up to 100lbs/45kg, move, stand, walk, sit, and safely get in and out of the cab and cargo area

• This is a safety-sensitive, DOT-regulated position requiring constant alertness
