CDL-B Delivery Driver — Building Materials

Capitol Building Supply in Harrisburg, PA is looking for a delivery driver to haul building materials to job sites and customer locations using a flatbed or boom truck. You'll load and unload product by hand and on the equipment, and help keep every delivery damage-free while giving customers solid service.

What you'll haul

• Building materials delivered to commercial and residential job sites

• Loading and unloading using a flatbed or boom truck

• Placing materials where the customer directs, with safety as the top priority

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED

• Valid commercial driver's license; Class B is the minimum, Class A is strongly preferred

• Clean 3-year motor vehicle record

• General understanding of DOT rules

• Able to lift building materials weighing up to 100+ lbs during loading and unloading

• Comfortable staying seated while driving roughly 40% of the shift, and frequently moving and positioning materials up to 80 lbs while unloading

• Able to judge distances for deliveries and boom operation, work outdoors in all conditions, and communicate clearly with managers, coworkers and customers

• Good at juggling multiple job sites and deadlines, staying calm under pressure, and using sound judgment to solve problems on the spot
