About this job
Our company is looking for a Class A CDL yard truck driver in Gaylord, MN. This is a local, home-daily yard position with no-touch freight, working the PM shift on an alternating 4-day/3-day schedule.
Pay
- $30.00 per hour on the PM shift
- Paid weekly, with total pay expected around $69K+ per year
- $3000 loyalty bonus
- our company also pays unlimited bonuses for referring drivers who get hired
Schedule
- Alternating 4-day/3-day workweek
- Shift starts at 6:00 am
What you'll haul
- Local yard work only, home every day
- No-touch freight
- Trucks are 36 months old or newer, with 24/7 roadside maintenance support and access to over 800 maintenance facilities nationwide for fueling
Requirements
- At least 21 years old
- Valid Class A CDL with required endorsements; our company covers the cost and provides training for endorsements
- Tanker endorsement required within 30 to 60 days of hire
- Backing experience required
- Verifiable tractor-trailer experience: 9 months in the last 3 years, OR 2 years in the last 5 years, OR 5 years in the last 10 years
- Must pass a drug test, background check, motor vehicle record review (including past employer drug and alcohol checks going back 3 years), DOT physical, and a our company road test
- Able to follow instructions and apply relevant laws, rules and procedures
- Some assignments may require added screening, such as employment or education checks, driving record review, a road test, or customer-specific badging/background requirements
Responsibilities
- Follow applicable federal and state laws and company safety rules
- Spot and reduce safety hazards
- Keep accurate logs and records
- Load or unload freight when the customer requires it
- Handle other assigned duties
