CDL-A Yard Spotter Driver — Local Home Daily, $25/hr

Our company is looking for a CDL-A yard driver in West Point, GA to run yard spotting duties with day cab and yard trucks, hauling no-touch auto parts freight in 53' dry vans. You'll be home every day.

Pay

• $25.00 per hour, plus $0.50 per hour shift pay

• Weekly paychecks, typically $1633 or more per week

• Expect 55+ hours per week

• Quarterly safety bonus of $250, paid four times a year

• Paid training included

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, with some weekends

• Shift starts at 6:00 PM

What you'll haul

• Local yard driving, home daily

• Equipment: day cab and yard truck, pulling 53' dry van trailers

• Freight is auto parts, no-touch

• Trucks are 36 months old or newer, with 24/7 roadside support and fueling at over 800 locations nationwide

Requirements

• At least 21 years old

• Valid Class A CDL with required endorsements

• Verifiable tractor-trailer experience: 9 months in the last 3 years, or 2 years in the last 5 years, or 5 years in the last 10 years

• Must pass a DOT physical, drug test, background check, motor vehicle record review, and road test

• Prior employer drug and alcohol history checked for the last 3 years

• Able to follow instructions and apply relevant rules and procedures

• Some assignments may require added screening such as employment/education verification or customer-specific badging

Responsibilities

• Follow applicable laws, regulations and safety standards

• Spot and reduce safety hazards

• Keep accurate logs and records

• Help load or unload freight when the customer requires it

• Other duties as assigned
