CDL-A Yard Hostler — Full Time, $21–$23/hr Plus OT

A family-owned logistics and asset trucking company based in Gainesville, GA is hiring CDL-A Yard Hostlers for both full-time and part-time shifts at its Gainesville plant. The role involves spotting and moving 53' Reefer and Van trailers around the yard, with no-touch freight.

Pay

• Full-time night shift: $21.00 per hour, with overtime after 40 hours, rising to $23.00 per hour after a 90-day review

• Full-time pay can total $1500-$1800 per week with overtime

• Part-time weekend hostlers: $250 per day

• Paid weekly via direct deposit

Schedule

• Full-time Night Shift Yard Hostler: 5pm to 5am, typically a 6-day work week with lots of overtime

• Part-time Day Shift: Saturday and Sunday, 5am to 5pm

• Part-time Night Shift: Saturday and Sunday, 5pm to 5am

• Some weekend work required at all plant locations, sometimes only a half day

• Part-time roles can lead to full-time with benefits after a 90-day review

What you'll haul

• 53' Reefer and Van trailers, moved within the yard

• 100% no-touch freight

Requirements

• Georgia Class A CDL

• Minimum 3 years of verifiable Class A tractor-trailer experience, with recent work on 53' Reefer or Van trailers

• Must live within a 25-35 mile radius of Gainesville, GA and be able to commute daily

• Registered with the FMCSA Clearinghouse; SAP drivers cannot be considered

• No serious moving violations, careless or reckless driving, or speeding 15+ mph over the limit in the past 3 years

• Employment history for the last 3 years must be verifiable

• Comfortable backing and maneuvering trailers in tight yard spaces
