About this job
Our company is looking for a CDL-A Yard Driver in Blue Springs, MS to handle yard moves of auto parts freight. This is a local, home daily position on a yard truck with 53' dry vans, no-touch freight, and paid weekly.
Pay
- $22.87 per hour
- At least 40 hours per week, with weekly paychecks typically $900 or more
- Shutdown bonus of $2000 within your first year
- Quarterly safety bonus of $250, paid four times a year
- Paid training
Schedule
- Monday through Friday
- Shift starts at 9:45 PM
- Home every day
What you'll haul
- Yard moves of auto parts freight, no-touch
- Yard truck pulling 53' dry van trailers
- Trucks are 36 months old or newer, with 24/7 roadside maintenance and fueling available at over 800 locations nationwide

Requirements
- At least 21 years old
- Valid Class A CDL with the right endorsements for this role
- Verifiable tractor-trailer experience: 9 months in the last 3 years, OR 2 years in the last 5 years, OR 5 years in the last 10 years
- Must pass a our company drug test, background check, motor vehicle check (including prior employer drug and alcohol verification for the last 3 years), DOT physical, and road test
- Able to follow instructions and apply relevant laws, regulations and procedures
- Some assignments may require added screening, such as employment or education verification, driving record checks, a road test, or customer-specific badging or background requirements
Responsibilities
- Safely maneuver tractor-trailers in the yard and on nearby public roads
- Follow DOT and safety regulations and complete ongoing training
- Watch for and reduce safety hazards
- Keep accurate logs, move records and yard inventory
- Handle other assigned tasks as needed
