CDL-A Western Regional Driver — Home Every 3 Weeks, New Grads Welcome

Our company is looking for CDL-A drivers in North Las Vegas, NV for a western regional fleet that stays west of the Mississippi. New CDL grads are welcome, and you're home every three weeks.

Pay

• Training pay is $800 per week

• Once you're solo, you're guaranteed at least $1,000 a week for your first 3 months

• After that, drivers average $1,200 per week

• Starting rate is $0.50 per mile

• You can earn $15 for each extra stop, paid as a monthly bonus

• Pay runs weekly, direct deposited to your bank account

Home time

You're home every three weeks. This isn't a months-at-a-time gig.

What you'll haul

No-touch freight across the western states only, running about 1,800 miles a week. Expect some winter weather in the mountain states. Trucks average 1.5 years old and come in both 10-speed manual and automatic.

Getting started

• First there's a call to go over your license and driving record, so there are no surprises later

• Orientation runs up to 2 days; your hotel is covered, your one-way bus ticket is reimbursed, and you get $300 after you're hired

• Training lasts 4 to 6 weeks with a mentor who'll help you with backing, logs, fuel stops and trip planning, paid at $800 a week

• Once you go solo, you get your own truck and the $1,000 weekly guarantee for your first 3 months

If you get stuck or turned around once you're solo, your loads are mapped out ahead of time and a driver leader is a phone call away.

Requirements

• Must be 21 or older

• Class A CDL; new grads need at least 120 training hours, or you can qualify with 6 months of recent driving experience

• No DUI or DWI in the last 10 years, and no more than 2 moving violations in the last 2 years

• Must pass a DOT physical and a hair and urine drug test
