CDL-A Water/Dump Truck Driver — From $86,000/Year

Our company, a gas service company operating in New York and Pennsylvania, is looking for a CDL-A driver to run water trucks, dump trucks and winch trucks in support of its gas field operations in Smithton, PA.

Pay

• Starting salary from $86,000.00 per year

What you'll haul

• Deliver, pick up and relocate products and materials using company-owned and leased water trucks, dump trucks and winch trucks

• Use a winch when needed for loading and unloading

• Plan routes to make the best use of time and equipment

Schedule

• Monday to Friday, with weekend work as needed

• Must be willing to work nights and weekends when required

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL required

• High school diploma or GED; one year of experience driving a water truck, dump truck or hauling heavy equipment is preferred but not required

• Tanker endorsement preferred

• Must pass DOT physical requirements and hold a current medical card

• Comfortable driving in all weather conditions and handling physical tasks outdoors

• Strong knowledge of traffic laws and defensive driving

• Able to work independently and communicate well with coworkers, supervisors and customers

• Background check and pre-employment physical with drug and alcohol testing required

Responsibilities

• Complete pre-trip, in-transit and post-trip vehicle checks, keeping required logs and reports

• Carry out routine inspections and preventive maintenance, reporting any needed repairs to your supervisor, and keep equipment clean

• Follow all safety and security procedures and maintain required DOT, OSHA and company safety certifications

• Deliver strong customer service during pickups and deliveries

• Take on other duties as assigned
