CDL-A Union Driver — $32–$36/hr, Equipment Delivery

Our company is looking for a Class A CDL driver for its Trenching Branch in Shrewsbury, MA. This is a union driving role, moving trenching equipment and supplies to and from customer job sites in urban, suburban and rural areas, including tight construction zones.

Pay

• $32 - $36 an hour (base pay range listed as $31.13 - $46.69; starting rate depends on position, location, education, training and experience)

What you'll haul

• Trenching equipment, tools and supplies, picked up and dropped off at customer worksites

• You'll operate a Class A truck, and experience with flat-beds, RGN/lowboy or dovetail trailers is a plus

• A background with a truck-mounted crane is considered a strong plus

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a CDL and a clean driving record

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Prior training or experience with similar commercial equipment preferred

• Comfortable troubleshooting and handling minor equipment or vehicle repairs on site

• Good customer service skills

• Job involves bending, squatting, crouching, reaching and lifting 50 pounds or more, indoors and outdoors as needed
