CDL-A Truck Driver — Transloading — Sign-On Bonus

Our company is hiring a CDL-A driver to haul coal, coke and limestone to American Crystal Sugar Co. and other customers in the East Grand Forks, MN area. You'll run end dump, belly dump or live bottom trailers, and may also operate a track mobile or move equipment on lowboy trailers. A sign-on bonus is offered.

What you'll do

• Check your truck and trailer before each run to confirm they're safe to operate

• Keep up with required DOT logs and vehicle inspection paperwork

• Follow safety rules set by our company and American Crystal Sugar at every site you visit

• Hit the delivery times for your assigned route

• Deliver coal to the customer's storage bunker or stockpile without contamination

• Handle other duties as they come up, including occasional stacking work at unload sites

Working conditions

Expect regular time outdoors in all weather, along with exposure to coal dust, silica dust from limestone, and fuel or gasoline vapors while fueling. The job involves standing, walking, bending and stretching, basic tool handling, lifting up to 25 pounds, and good enough vision to inspect equipment and drive safely.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL, kept current under the company's Corporate Fleet Policy

• At least 18 years old

• A year of truck driving experience is preferred, not required

• Solid work ethic and a positive attitude

• Able to read, write and do basic math for logging car ID numbers and completing reports

• Must pass the company's driver/operator training and all required pre-employment testing
