CDL-A Truck Driver Trainer — Avg. $94,600/Year for Top Performers

Our company is looking for experienced CDL-A drivers ready to mentor newer drivers as a trainer, earning extra pay while helping new team members get up to speed.

Pay

• Mileage pay between $0.45 - $0.63 per mile, covering both your miles and your student's miles while training

• An additional $200 each week you have a student riding with you

• A bonus that matches any production and safety bonuses your trainees earn in their first year

• Top-performing trainers average around $94,600 a year, or about $1,800 a week

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL and at least 21 years old

• 6 months of Class A driving in the last year, or 1 year within the last 5

• No more than one preventable accident in the past 2 years and nothing major in the last 5

• No more than two moving violations in the past 2 years

• Able to pass a DOT physical and drug screening

• At least 30 days working for Knight already, with 60,000 solo miles and one winter season of OTR driving

• Willing to run at least 2 weeks at a stretch

• No more than one moving violation in the past year and one preventable incident as a trainer
