Local CDL-A Yard Jockey — Home Daily, No-Touch Freight

Our company is hiring a yard driver to shuttle trailers at a single site in Lithia Springs, GA. You'll spend your whole shift moving equipment around the yard instead of driving the highway, giving you a steady, repeatable routine and a predictable schedule.

Home time

• You're home every day, with a consistent daily schedule.

What you'll haul

• Trailers moved within the yard and between dock doors, using drop and hook methods.

• No highway driving, customer stops, or freight handling involved.

Pay

• The posting lists pay as $2.00 per hour, though a separate pay range shown is $22.00 to $22.00 per hour.

• Overtime is available after 40 hours worked, and pay is issued weekly.

• Referral bonuses of up to $2,000 are offered for each hire who stays on.

Requirements

• You need a valid Class A CDL and a current DOT medical card.

• A clean driving history and prior tractor-trailer experience are expected.

• You should be comfortable working outdoors in any weather and getting in and out of the cab repeatedly through your shift.

Responsibilities

• Reposition trailers across the yard and at dock doors.

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks.

• Follow company safety rules and stay in contact with dispatch and yard staff.

• Keep accurate records of your work.
