CDL-A Truck Driver Trainee — $23.50/hr Training, Up to $88,000/yr After

Our company is bringing on a CDL-A Truck Driver Trainee in Otsego, MN. You'll ride alongside a seasoned driver trainer to pick up the routes, the equipment and the safety habits you need to move into a full company driving role.

Pay

• $23.50 per hour while you're in training.

• Once you're fully trained, pay runs between $75,000 and $88,000 per year.

Home time

• Routes stay local and regional, with dispatch in the early evening and deliveries running overnight.

What you'll do

• Learn how to inspect and couple tractor-trailers correctly.

• Practice safe driving, backing and maneuvering with your trainer riding shotgun.

• Record deliveries and product temperatures on a handheld device.

• Pitch in on unloading and getting product to customers.

• Fill out driver logs accurately, following DOT requirements.

Requirements

• You need to be 21 or older.

• A high school diploma or GED is a plus.

• You'll need to earn your Class A CDL within 6 months of starting.

• You should read, write and speak English clearly enough to handle safety and job instructions.

• Expect a background check and drug test.

• The job involves standing, walking, climbing, bending and lifting.
