CDL-A Truck Driver — Regional or OTR, Percentage Pay

Our company in Chicago, IL is hiring Class A CDL drivers for both regional and over-the-road runs. Pay is percentage-based, starting at 25% of gross load revenue and climbing to 28-30% as you build performance, reliability and experience; weekly earnings have run between $1,800 and $2,800. You'll drive a company-supplied truck and get a fuel card.

• Varies by the lanes you run; regional drivers covering the Midwest get more frequent home time, while OTR drivers travel farther for higher earning potential

What you'll haul

• Steady freight on regional (Midwest and nearby states) or OTR routes

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL

• At least 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience

• Minimum age 23

• Clean driving record with no current suspensions or disqualifications

• Must pass a DOT drug screen and meet FMCSA Clearinghouse standards

• Valid DOT medical card

• Comfortable with 10-speed manuals (preferred), HOS rules, and logbook/ELD use

• Able to complete thorough pre- and post-trip inspections
