CDL-A Traveling Driver — $43/Hr, 10 Hours Guaranteed Daily

This travel-based CDL-A role supports retail operations at various locations nationwide, with lodging paid and pay locked in before you leave. You'll be away 4 to 6 weeks at a stretch, then return to work a mix of shifts at your home base.

Pay

• $43 per hour while on the road

• Every travel day pays for a full 10 hours, even if the day is shorter

• An extra $25 per day in per diem

• Local pay rates apply when working from your home base

• Drivers who travel 6 to 8 months a year average roughly $1,635 weekly, or about $85,000 annually

Home time

Expect stretches of 4 to 6 weeks away, with your lodging covered during that time. When you're not traveling, you'll work varied shifts and start times from your home base.

Requirements

• Current Class A CDL

• At least 9 months of tractor-trailer driving experience within the last 3 years

• Minimum age of 22

• Registered in the federal drug and alcohol clearinghouse

• Further background and qualification checks happen later in the hiring process
