Our company is hiring a CDL-A tractor-trailer driver in Frankfort, IN to deliver snack brands like Lay's, Doritos, and Cheetos to stores and warehouses in the area. Runs are assigned through a daily bidding system based on seniority, so schedules and start times vary from day to day.

Pay

• Target annual pay of $83191.68

Schedule

• No fixed route or dedicated schedule; drivers bid daily on available runs

• Start and end times depend on which run you bid and win based on seniority

• At least 10 hours off required between runs

• Must be willing to work weekends and holidays

• Shifts can run up to 14 hours, with up to 11 hours of actual driving time

What you'll haul

• Deliveries go to large grocery stores, Frito-Lay plants, rural storage sites, and other distribution points

• You'll load and unload trailers by hand, using pallet equipment or a two-wheeler, including lifting product overhead

• Duties include getting delivery signatures, handling returns, logging paperwork, and checking invoices and manifests

• You'll run pre- and post-trip inspections and log your hours on an electronic device (tablet or onboard computer)

• Regular contact with customers, sales drivers, and dispatch is part of the job

Requirements

• Must be 21 or older

• Valid Class A CDL required

• At least 100,000 accident-free miles or 2,500+ accident-free hours

• Able to lift 15 to 50 pounds, with reasonable accommodation if needed

• Able to stand, walk, and handle product (lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling) for long stretches

• Able to sit for up to 5 hours a day and drive a tractor-trailer for up to 11 hours a day
