About this job
Clayton Connect needs a CDL-A driver to haul manufactured homes (toter work) on regional routes, with regular home time built in. You'll spend about 2-3 nights a week in a hotel, which the company pays for fully.
Pay
- Starts at $30/hr after paid training
- During the 4-6 week training period, drivers typically earn $5,000-$7,500
- Top drivers can earn up to $85,000 a year
Home time
- Regular home time with regional routes
- Expect 2-3 nights per week in a company-paid hotel
What you'll haul
- Manufactured homes delivered to customers using a tractor-trailer
Requirements
- Valid CDL-A license
- At least 1 year of recent driving experience
- Must pass a background check and drug test
Responsibilities
- Deliver homes safely and keep the truck clean and well maintained
- Keep accurate delivery records
- Provide good customer service at each stop
