CDL-A Tanker Truck Driver — $27–30/hr, Home Weekly

C&S Chemicals is hiring a Tanker Truck Driver to haul hazardous liquid bulk materials on regional routes dispatched from their plant facilities in the Winder, GA area. You'll get dedicated regional lanes and be home weekly, with occasional overnight runs.

Pay

• $27-30/hr, based on experience

• $500 quarterly incentive bonus

What you'll haul

• Hazardous materials in liquid bulk tankers

• You'll load, transport and unload at multiple locations, following safety and regulatory rules at every step

What the job involves

• Operating the truck safely under all local, state and federal rules, and following company and government safety policies

• Doing pre-trip and post-trip inspections per USDOT rules, and logging hours of service through an ELD

• Wearing required PPE such as masks, gloves, chemical suits, boot covers, and eye, ear and face protection

• Following standard procedures for loading and unloading materials

• Coupling and uncoupling trailers, including handling air and electrical lines, fifth-wheel locks and landing gear

• Reviewing load paperwork and bills of lading, confirming delivery instructions and routes

• Handling basic upkeep like adding oil, fuel or radiator fluid, and simple repairs

• Dealing with roadside issues such as tire changes or swapping light bulbs or chains

• Taking on other tasks as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred

• Unrestricted Class A CDL

• Tanker and Hazmat endorsements

• At least 24 months of verifiable experience in the last 36 months driving similar equipment (including 5-axle articulated trailers) in interstate or intrastate commerce

• No more than 3 moving violations in the past 36 months

• No more than 1 serious violation in the past 36 months

• Able to pass and maintain a USDOT physical

• Comfortable standing, walking, sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling as needed, and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds
