CDL-A Tanker Transport Driver — $110,000–$130,000/yr

Our company is hiring a fuel transport driver to haul product between terminals, facilities and customer locations out of Pawnee, TX. You'll handle loading, delivery and documentation for fuel transport, working under company and DOT safety standards.

Pay

• $110,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year

What you'll haul

• Fuel, loaded and unloaded at terminals, stores, and wholesale/retail customer tanks

• You'll follow hazardous materials handling rules at every stop

What the job involves

• Pre-trip and post-trip checks on your truck and trailer, with mechanical issues reported right away

• Keeping accurate electronic and paper logs, delivery tickets and bills of lading

• Logging load details into the electronic system at pickup and drop-off

• Flagging customer or safety concerns to logistics and field management

• Responding to and cleaning up fuel spills, or alerting the right people quickly

• Keeping your rig clean and representing the company well with customers and coworkers

Requirements

• Class A CDL, current and valid

• Hazmat and tanker endorsements required (not needed if you're running DEF only); doubles endorsement where the job calls for it

• At least 3 years of experience driving a combination vehicle

• No more than 2 moving violations in the past three years

• Current DOT medical card, plus any needed terminal access credentials or TWIC card

• Working knowledge of DOT, EPA, OSHA and FMCSA rules

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• English required

• Strong communication skills, able to work independently, troubleshoot delivery issues, and keep a customer-first mindset
